Hello fellow guildies  I had the idea to organise a nice guild event with prizes. I had a few events in mind but input is of course always welcome Hide & seek event (find the hidden guildmembers in a map.) Scavenger hunt (gather several items, print screen your inventory and send it in) Costume brawl (do you have what it takes to become the costume brawl king/ queen?) Costume contest: combine and color your armor. Are you the most fabulous?) Dance until the beat drops (can you stop at the right time) Does it sound like a fun idea to you guys? Let me know |

Day wise I think I'd recommend a saturday or a sunday. Maybe in July or early August? Or even after the summer holidays are over since some people are most likely going somewhere. The more the merrier (perhaps a few group/ party quests?) I think for the costume brawl tonics would be the best way to go. Since some outfits, (mad king, executioner) are rather OP'd. and not everyone has money for fancy costumoes. Distributing tonics to the participants would be the fairest way to go. Also who will be the ones to be the event guiders (those who hide, rate, etc aka fellow organisers) Those automaticly actually do not participate. A donation pool would be nice. I got some things I can put in as prizes, but some help is nice |

1.You could also to a Quaggan rush \o/ everyone goes quaggan ( less than 50 silver) and need to rush through a route
Well the idea is quite simple.Everyone turns into a quaggan and ppls will stand there or someone say them the route.Your goal is to follow the route but dont die as quaggan or well getting owned.If you die you have to tp back or someone revive you , who isnt a quaggan.
Any prices ? i don't know so far but there are maybe some gold to win or maybe craft mats.
2.Protect the Quaggan Someone transform into a quaggan and ppls need to protect the quaggan \o/ maybe going a route or doing a dungeon something like that.
Someone become a quaggan and the goal is to go a route with the quaggan , but the guy should get owned.
3.Puzzle's like some ideas how to find a special place or monster.
As example:"Everyone fears me ,but everyones loves me.Im high respected ,but im not a godness.Peoples respect me or they will have to learn it." Thats the beginning of it and then later after 10 mins or so."If i breath my breath is strong as the wind.If i see you , you are just a small thing." and well it goes more and more like this until someone (hopefully) find out its Tequatl the Sunless as example.Prices

4.Jumping puzzle rush.WHich team will be the fastest team ?
Quite simple someone pick up a Jumping puzzle and you have to run as a team straight to the jumping puzzle.The shorter the Time the better for you.

5.Crab toss red team vs blue team. \o/
Peoples dye their outfit to blue or red , which team they belongs and the point in it is to win the match and your points will be counted together .There will be 5 rounds of it or less and the team with the highest points win.
6.Cakeshot try to dont get shooten by a Cake \o/
Someone use or more use their birthday blaster and hunt other guildmates.The question is if they stand somewhere and ppls run around them or if they move. not more than 2-3 hunters.
7.Quiz!Who is the smartest ?
3 ppls stay in a line with huge gasp between each of them some of them will say a question and each of them say one answer you go to the one , who say in your opinion the right answer and stay behind him,if you right ,you win .You will see it , once the person,who said the right answer casting an skill.
8.Weekend World boss hunting
Kinda easy , but also maybe a bit difficult to get all on one map , but here is the idea.We hunting worldbosses together or maybe just one ?.Usually as far as i know , when i was hunting Worldbosses you can find a new worldboss each 10-20 mins.
9. The Quaggan Jumping Puzzle
Since Quaggan can jump and dodge.I got an idea a Quaggan Challenge like doing a Jumping puzzle as quaggan.
and other ideas ... well thats my ideas so far

Protection/escort
There are two ways how we can do this
A large group protecting someone who transformed him/herself into a baby quaggan and have it be escorted through an area from point A to point B (assuming not everyone has a lvl 80/ has been everywhere it would be an area easy to reach. No lvl 80 area)
Or...
Multiple parties each escorting a (baby) quaggan fulfilling its demands, taking it from point A to point B. (Perhaps 3 groups of X amount of people. Prizes being based on 1st, 2nd or 3rd place Depends a little on how much people donate as well)
Puzzle
We could do a jumping puzzle rush (no mesmer portals or swiftness. Perhaps a tonic would be in order, one that allows its user to jump? )
Will have to see which puzzle though (not so secret is to hard after all despite it would be a good shot)
The 3 who finish first get a reward.

I think those two from your suggestions will be the best Jack. We also need to consider the time it takes to do certain things and how long people want to stick around.

Updates about my previous suggested events
Hide & seek event (find the hidden guildmembers in a map.)
Me, and those who wish to help me (max of three including me. Take note that those who will help me will not receive rewards) hide in several places in 1 map at the same time (although there will be 3 different maps)
The participants need to find all 3 and points are awarded depending on how fast you find them. Hiding locations will NOT be in jumping puzzles however

Since I have been in several guilds before... I have seen some really nice events organised. One I really liked is asura ball. Here are the rules explained and also a video : forum-en.guildwars2.com/forum/community/events/Asura-Ball-MundialCopy paste for the lazy ones: "What you need: - basicly you organize 2 teams of players from the same or opposite servers (might be a bit harder to play then cause of all the knockbacks affecting enemies, not only the “ball”) - find a volunteer to be the ball (some tanky small asura hero) - set 2 gates from some useless banners on opposite sides of your field - unequip all gear/remove traits (so that you deal the lowest possible dmg) - take some weapon that has knockback/push/pull or any effects like this ^^ Suggested places are OS arena (if empty or not many trolls) or the spot around mill (south part of map at borderlands). You can do matches like “first to score 5 goals” and such and then swap the teams if there is many players wanting to take part in it." We can also make new rules.... and we get to molest asuras. |

The idea sounds nice Inge but I fear not many like this. But maybe pvp in this kind of way can be organised another time  We also have a 'beat another one/ beat others up' with the custume brawl. |

Not bored of the game I just have been a little tired lately I will not be super active in the month september as well because of work but I'm certainly still working on this. Only received one donation as well and on so farming a lot too to get the prizes I do have a bit of help regarding the farming |
